This image came up on my Instagram stream aligned with my recent syncs with hands as well as the owl syncs I started experiencing on Friday, during a video call with the artist, Chris Kaplan, who was wearing an owl t-shirt.  Upon tweeting about the owl syncs, another artist, Darcy J. Watt, replied that he too has been “overwhelmed” by syncs with the wise bird.
I like how the magnets in this image resonate with the amplification power of social media works—I synced with other owl images in “real life” but by not capturing them via a camera or words and posting them in some form, they are already getting hazy, as compared to the vividness of the ones I put online.
